Recipe for the day ~ Bourbon Pecan Pie



Bourbon Pecan Pie

Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 TBspns butter, melted
1/2 cup light corn syrup
3 eggs,beaten
2 TBspns bourbon
2 cups pecan halves
1 (9-inch) unbaked deep-dish pie crust

Directions:
Preheat oven to 35
Mix the white sugar, brown sugar and butter together in a bowl
Stir in the corn syrup, eggs and bourbon
Fold in the pecans
Pour mixture into the pie crust
Bake for 10 minutes
THEN reduce heat to 350 and continue to bake for about 30 minutes or until the pie is set
Allow to cool completely on a wire rack before serving
