Countdown to Thanksgiving ~ Recipe for the day ~ Chocolate Pecan Pie

I personally do not like Pecan Pie however whenever we go to my parents house for Thanksgiving, my mom always has one for dessert....so I found this easy recipe to share

Chocolate Pecan Pie


Ingredients:

Crust

1Pillsbury® refrigerated pie crust, softened as directed on box

Filling

3eggs
1cup sugar
1cup light corn syrup
2tablespoons butter, melted
1teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2cups chopped pecans
1/2cup semisweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips

Directions:
Heat oven to 350°F
Make pie crust as directed on box for One-Crust Filled Pie, using 9-inch glass pie plate.
In large bowl, stir first 5 filling ingredients until well blended.
Stir in pecans and chocolate. Pour into crust-lined pie plate.

Bake 60 to 70 minutes or until set. Cool before cutting
